@askaclibrary if the book I want is an e-book, and I click on the link, it takes me to "BOOKS24x7" website how to login? #frustrating

Answer

On the Books 24X7 webpage, look for the box entitled "Go to BOOKS 24X7 IT PRO."  Click on the Books 24X7 icon to or "TRY ITPRO and Well-Being Essentials" enter the database.   

Type the title of the book you want in the Search box and click on the red GO button.  You can then click on the title (in blue letters) of the book you wish to read.

  1. No box "entitled" Go to Books etc... had to dig, then had to sign up for a trial account, giving out email and all... only to find the entire text I am interested in redacted....

    i don't mind doing the leg-work to access the eBook, but will it kill the library to give some actual instructions?!?!

  2. After some more frustrating clicking around I realized why the above answer does not help:

    The answer states "on the Books 24x7 webpage" which would lead the reader to believe means "www.books27x7.com". Incorrect - what the answer refers to is the place within the LIBRARY's website that links to Books 24x7.

    It would be very helpful to clarify this and provide a link.
