Q. What local newspapers do you have at the library?

Answer

Branch libraries carry both local and national newspapers. Generally only the most recent few months are held in paper format. You can check the library catalog under the title of a newspaper to check what we have. Newspapers do not check out. If you need help finding a particular newspaper, please ask a librarian.

The most extensive back issues of local newspapers are kept on microfilm at the Fremont Main Library. We have microfilm for the south county area dating back to the 1890s.
