All Alameda County Library items check out for 3 weeks with the exception of magazines, which check out for 1 week, and some digital devices which are for use in the library only.

Items may be renewed up to 2 times unless there is a hold on the item, you owe $10.00 or more in fines or fees, or the patron has borrowed an item that is 10 or more days late.

Requested items will be held for you at your chosen pickup location for 1 week, after which the item will be released back into circulation.

Lucky Day items and Tech It Home devices may not be renewed or placed on hold

Items borrowed through Link + are subject to the borrowing policies of the lending library, which may include different check out times and/or fine amounts.
