Q. can i extend pick up date?
The answer is... it depends. Library staff can extend a "cancel if not filled by" date for you if the hold has not been filled. If the item has already been sent to the hold shelf for you, the hold cannot be extended beyond the 10 day period we allow.
If you have something waiting for you on the hold shelf and will not be able to pick it up by the 10th day, you should cancel your request. You are welcome to place a new request for that item. If there is a waiting list you will go to the end of the queue.
