Q. How long do I have to pick up my holds before they expire?
Beginning August 17, 2020, we will be temporarily extending our hold pickup time from seven (7) to 14 days. This change will continue until further notice.
Also starting Monday, August 17, 2020, we will begin clearing any "Ready for Pickup" holds past their "Pickup by" date. Please be sure to pick up your requested items by, or before, this date.
We had hoped we would be able to keep all our members' holds for at least two weeks past our buildings' reopening, but as our buildings' closure continues into its fourth month, it has become clear that we will be unable to keep holds "Ready for Pickup" indefinitely.
If you currently have "Ready to Pickup" holds with a "Pick up by" date of 8/17/20 or before, please call your pickup location to schedule a No Contact Pickup appointment.
If you no longer want your items on hold, simply do nothing. We will clear your request once it has expired and the item(s) will be placed back into circulation. You can also cancel your holds by logging into your account or by calling your pickup location.
